Challenge #141 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: Animals or Insects

Hey, Bloggers!  Welcome back!  Mom popped into town for a visit so I've been neglecting my blog while we spent some time shopping for crafty stuff, relaxing and chatting, and eating our way through the weekend.  After a fun and fabulous few days, it's time to get back into the swing of things.

August is already here and to me, that means that it's open season on Halloween.  That might seem early to a few of you, but Hobby Lobby and other stores are already breaking out the Christmas stuff, so I have to squeeze in a bit of crafting where I can that focuses on my favorite celebrations...Halloween and Dia de los Muertos.

This week's Hostess Extraordinaire, Angie, gave me just the opportunity to do just that when she tasked us to leave the people out the picture and only use an animal or an insect image on our card.  My mind immediately went straight to Kreepy Kitty by Emilie Goulet, available in the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop.  I LOVE this ferocious feline!  In fact, he is quite svelte and I wish he would pass on some diet secrets to my own chunky gato, Super Titus Devil Kitty.  Seems Titus has been letting himself go lately.  I'm thinking he might be bored, as my older female kitty is not interested in his playful tussling.  I'm actually considering getting Titus his own cat, but I'm afraid he won't take care of it.  LOL!  Stop by the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog for some eye-popping inspiration from the DT.  These gals are amazing!

One more thing, before I go, Kimmie is having a huge sale in the shop with roughly 65 designs on special.  Her daughter Emileigh just had her wisdom teeth taken out and as a way to lift her spirits, Kimmie let her design this sale.  How cool is that!  We hope Emileigh starts feeling better real soon, but until then, grab your Wish List and start marking stuff off.  Hurry though, the sale ends on Sunday.

Okay, I better scoot!  Until next time, stay krafty!
