Happy New Year!!! We're 5 days into 2013. How is it treating you thus far? Me? Well, I had high hopes, but what I have to show for it so far is an extra 4lbs from a gravy allergy. Yep, apparently when I eat food slathered in rich, luscious gravy my butt swells up...HA! Also, I've spent 2-weeks away from my sweet, sweet Copics and now I've forgotten how to use them. See that sentiment on my card? Yep, it's hiding a lot of red bleeding on that desk. You can still see some of it even though I tried to cover it up. Sheesh! It's like a scene from Dexter only he wouldn't have been so sloppy. Maybe Michael C. Hall can teach me how to use my Copics again...LOL!
Anyway...I digress. Let's check out the new challenge at KKS...

I've used Krafty Katastrophe on my card and this image is practically a snapshot of me making a card in my studio. Okay, she's thinner and has better hair, but I am constantly peeling a cat off my desk in order to work.
P.S. Our January release is quickly approaching....keep your eyes peeled for sneaky peeks starting on Wednesday!!! Trust me, we are kickin' off 2013 big time!!!
Happy kraftin'!!

ReplyDeleteOh, I can't see where you've forgotten ANYthing... this card is fabulous! LOVE your green background! Such a pretty and fun card!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh out loud as soon as I saw this image! What is it with cats and work spaces? I had to devote an entire side of my table just for my cat!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and coloring! Good idea to hide that bleeding with the sentiment. I hate when that happens!
Love this true to life card! Hee Hee I have this image on order, as it reminds me of my sweet Squeak when she walked across an opened black ink pad and was just about to jump onto my carpeted floor, when I reached our and grabbed her furry little butt! LOL
ReplyDeleteHugs, Mom
just love that greeny shadow, you rock the challenge!!
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely and I really had to look for the "bleed". Even better than your card though is your blog dialogue ... I love it. You make me laugh which in the words of whatever credit card it is .... priceless! Thank you for both...thanks for your Pinterest stuff too -- I repin many of your selections!
ReplyDeleteFabby card Cheryl, what a beauty! Jo x
ReplyDeleteOMG this card is Totally Adorable!!! I sooo love it!!! Your coloring is Fantastic on it too!!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card...Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl, I love your card. I think it looks so much like my craft desk it is awesome. I always have a my black cat 'Lucy' either sitting on my supplies or on my lap. She is 10lbs, so you can imagine that I need longer arms. lol... Anyway, I think your coloring is divine and I think your red ink just adds to the fact that the cat is being so helpful. Hugs, Lisa G
