A New Challenge at Tiddly Inks: Use Your Favorite Tiddly Image!

Hey, all!  Today is Tuesday and that marks the beginning of a new challenge at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!  Did you get a chance to join us last week?  Never fear, this week you can easily join the fun by grabbing your favorite Tiddly Ink image and creating something fabulous to share with us.

I have a boatload of TI images that I absolutely adore, but this one...what can I say...it is just so wonderful, I knew it had to be The One I turned to for this challenge.  Besides, Halloween and Dia de los Muertos are just around the corner and this card is getting me geared up for some lush, gothy projects in my near future.  This image is called Forever and can be found in the Tiddly Ink Shop.  The handsome vampire with the long tresses reminds me so much of Brad Pitt in An Interview with a Vampire.  What a great flick!  Lots of handsome men and a very young Kirsten Dunst.  I watched it again just a few months ago and it definitely withstands the test of time.

Don't forget that Christy now has a line of clear stamps also in the shop, as well as her newly released digi images, Fantasy Friends.  They are fabulous you'll definitely want to pick them up if you haven't already.  While you're out and about, be sure to pop into Christy's blog, because she always has something wonderful up her sleeve ;D  Catch ya' later in the week!  Until then, stay crafty!

Challenge #139 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: Summer (Bright Colors)

Hey, all!  Welcome to the weekend!  It's time to announce the new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  This week's hostess with the mostest is Pam Varnell and she is asking us to create a card with bright colors or Summery colors.

I'm not sure if my colors are quite bright enough, but I knew I HAD to use this Eliza Doolittle image from the Old Hollywood release.  I bet you didn't know that My Fair Lady is one of my ALL TIME TOP 5 Favorite Movies!  Well, it is!  Right up there with Pulp Fiction and Fight Club.  Yeah, I have REALLY eclectic movie tastes.  I even know all the songs and have presently launched into I Could Have Danced All Night while typing this post.  I bet you're glad there is no audio...LOL!  By the way, see that strip of black and white ribbon down the side?  My friend Denise gave me that.  Don't you think it's a perfect match for Eliza's dress?  I think its "loverly"...LOL!  Also, I typed up my own sentiment to make this card a bit more on the Summery side.  I wanted to use "Move your bloomin' arse", but it did't quite fit the bill.

Anyway, you can find Eliza in the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop.  Pick her up there along with all the other recently released stamps.  You will also find some Frugal Friday Specials if you hit the Deals, Deals, Deals button.  Visit the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog to see all of the fab cards the DT whipped up for you and why not join the fun by making a Summery (bright colors) card.

Okay, that's it for me!  Catch ya later!  Until then, stay krafty!

Ribbon Carousel and Krafty Girls Team Up for a Blog Hop!

Oh BOY!  Hang on to your hats!  We have a TREAT for you today!

The Krafty Girls and the Ribbon Carousel Crewmates are so excited to be teaming up to bring you a blog hop that is sure to knock your socks off!

I received a delightful assortment of ribbon to play with, but the trims that jumped out at me most were the fun turquoise net ribbon and the gorgeous teal cotton twill ribbon.  I decided to match these up with Alice from the Alice in Wonderland collection at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and simply had a ball putting this card together!  I created ruffles in the net ribbon with strategically place mini glue dots and then laid a strip of the teal cotton twill right down the center.  Lots of sparkly bling on top of that was just the cherry I was looking for!

Lets talk prizes!

Hop along and leave some blog love for our designers for a chance to win one of two great prizes!  The Ribbon Carousel will be giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to the store and Kraftin' Kimmie will be giving away a winner's choice of 1 stamp set or 3 individual stamps!  The winner of the carousel on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog and the winner of the Kraftin' Kimmie stamps will be announced right here on our blog!

Ready to hop?

New Fantasy Release at Tiddly Inks!

Hello, bloggers!  I hope your weekend was FANTASTIC!  Today marks a new release at Tiddly Inks called Fantasy Friends. Christy has designed some amazing new fantasy images and you are gonna LOVE them!  Head to Christy's blog to check the release out in full and see what gorgeous creations the design team made to showcase these images.

I actually chose an older image to play with.  Christy has re-released Sparkles the Unicorn because he pairs so nicely with all of the new Fantasy Friends.  I've never been one to go crazy over unicorns, but for some reason, this guy makes me swoon.  He is fierce and majestic, plus that wicked wavy tail just begs to be colored with Copics.  I ADORE him...LOL!

Remember, there's still time to join the challenge, just head to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to check out the sketch.  Easy peasy!

Okay, I best be scootin'!  Catch ya tomorrow with something new ;D  Stay crafty!

WOW!  There is a lot going on today!  First of all, I'm happy to report that if you check my sidebar listing the Krafty Girls, you'll find 4 new talented ladies have been added to our team.  These gals are so energetic and freakin' amazing that you absolutely MUST visit their blogs and give a great big WELCOME to Alyce KeeganJessie Rone, Sheri Willshire, and Kim O'Connell :D  Kisses, ladies!

Next on the list is the very cool challenge happening at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  This week, our glamorous hostess is the lovely Kerry Johnson and she has asked us and YOU to create a card with Stitching...Real or Faux.  At first, I was skeptical.  I can't operate a sewing machine to save my life, so the "faux" portion of this challenge sparked my interest a bit more than the "real" option did.  After I thought about it a bit more, I decided that some rustic hand stitching might be pretty cool and that immediately conjured up images of Drucilla, one of my absolute FAVORITE KKS stamps!  I adore Drucilla!  She has that krazy kooky hair that is a nightmare to color because it's almost impossible to stay in the lines, but that's part of her charm ;D  In addition to those fabulous locks is that kreepy cute voodoo doll.  ACK!  Could she be any cooler!  I think not!

I'm a bit of a Halloween and Dia de los Muertos nut, so this card was the perfect project to bridge my darker crafting desires until it's time to go full blown macabre...hehe!  I know, she's a happy little image and these are happy little colors, but Drucilla is just twisted enough to make me smile and that's all I need to get me through ;D  Drucilla is available in the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop, so pick her up if you need some "cute with a twist" in your KKS image arsenal.  While you're there, be sure to check out the Frugal Friday specials under Deals, Deals, Deals.

We're also playing along this week with the folks at Crazy 4 Challenges.  Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is sponsoring their challenge, so head over there and see how you can play along.  Actually, it couldn't be any easier, because their challenge is also Stitching.  Kill 2 birds with 1 stone (horrible saying) and join both challenges.  Double your odds of collecting some KKS booty!

Alrighty then, I think I have shared everything I needed to.

A New Challenge at Tiddly Inks: It's a sketch!

Hey, Bloggers!  I've been on hiatus from the Tiddly Inks crew for the past few months.  Christy and Melissa were nice enough to let me take some time away while we were selling our house and moving.  Those ladies are the bees knees and I just love 'em to pieces!

Today I'm back with my first Tiddly Ink's challenge in many moons and boy, does it feel good.  This week's challenge is a sketch and that combined with Christy's amazing images makes for a super fun card.  Visit the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and prepare to be inspired by the TI design team.  While you're out exploring in Blogland, be sure to pop into the Tiddly Inks shop and check out all the fabulous images.  There is something for every occasion and the new Wryn images are awesome!  I have used Summer Sweet Wryn on my card and she is just the epitome of adorable!

Oh,yeah!  And guess what else?  Christy is releasing 4 sets of clear stamps today and you will definitely want to add them to your collection!  YES...that's right!  You will be able to get some of your favorite TI images in clear sets!  How fabulous is that!

Okay, gotta scoot!  I hope you'll join us this week!  Stay crafty ;D

Okay, in all honesty, there was about 40 minutes of coloring and 3 hours where I literally fell asleep at my desk because I had hardly any sleep at all the night before and apparently your body doesn't care and will just shut down at some point an effort to rest and recharge...BUT other than that...a quick card...LOL!

Challenge #136 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: Favorite Stamp!

Hey, everybody!  Back with a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  This week our fabulous hostess is Sharon and she is keeping it simple by asking us to use our favorite KKS image.

Sounds easy, but my favorites tend to change from day to day.  I absolutely adore Charlotte, but because I used her recently I decided to go in search of a newer favorite and happened upon Nurse Nightingale.  She's awesome and not too nefarious even though she's donning a needle.  I added a little tiny charm to the flowers that says "aspirin" on it.  You might not be able to see it in the photos.  It was the only nurse related charm I could dig up and I only had one, so it must have been sitting in my stash waiting for me to make this card ;D

Join the challenge this week by grabbing your favorite KKS image and creating something wonderful with it.  If you are randomly selected as the winner, you will receive the image that Sharon used on her gorgeous card and it just so happens to be Best Friends.  Love these cuties!

Is your Kraftin' Kimmie stamp collection looking a little thin?  Well, now's the time to beef it up by adding everything on your wish list into your shopping cart, 'cuz there's a big ol' sale going on RIGHT NOW! That's right, Miss Kimmie is feeling all sorts of generous and every image in the Kraftin' Kimmie store is marked 15-50% off!  You just can't beat that deal, so stock up!!!

Okey dokey, catch ya next time!  Stay krafty!
