Kenny K - Football

Good Morning! No post yesterday. It simply slipped my mind. "Mom"day Monday will now be temporarily renamed to "Mom"day Tuesday. Not quite the same ring, huh? Actually, I am going to show you a card first and then I'll come back with a new post featuring mom's cards.

My sister requested a card from me for a coworker and I totally got the details wrong. I made some assumptions about the recipient. Remember the original Bad News Bears? To "assume" means you make an "ass" out of "u" and "me". Hahaha! Important life lessons to be had in that film ;D Long story short, it turns out this card does not fit the bill whatsoever, so it's back to the drawing board for me. I'm going to share it with you anyway.

I used the "football" character from Kenny K's All Starz line. He is quite the dapper dude. I truly tried to stay masculine with this one. Not a flower or gem to be seen. I did add a bit of glitter glue around the edge of the main panel, he is an "All Star", after all. I also added a touch of dimensional lacquer to his shoes and helmet. This is the first of the guys that I have colored-up. Wouldn't it be great if there were a few more guys added to the Kenny K image arsenal? There is a tattooed fellow playing drums pictured on the banner on the Kenny K Downloads site that more than resembles Tommy Lee. I want to get my hands on him! Not Tommy Lee literally, but that crazy cool image because it will obviously be a blast to color. Maybe he'll be part of a future release. I will cross my fingers ;D
