Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dear Copic Creations,
Happy Birthday to you!
That's right! Copic Creations is turning 2, but she looks as young and fresh as the day she was born. You go, girl! What's your beauty secret? "Blend" away those fine lines and always stay colorful. Makes perfect sense to me ;D
Visit the Copic Creations blog for more details regarding their 2-Year Blogoversary. Lots of great stuff to be given away!
The regular challenge this week is Distressing with Copics and the sponsor is Crafty Secrets. Their stamps are wonderful and their designs have a lovely retro/vintage feel to them. I would normally distress the main image panel using Distress Inks by none other than Tim Holtz, but this time I opted to add shading around my little bird friends using the Cool Grays. I also added some blue to the very edges and generously applied Colorless Blender to all of these areas. You'll find my colors at the end of this post.
Be sure you head to the challenge blog to find our more details regarding the challenge and the blogoversary and while you're there, check out the fabulous work by the Design Team. These talented artists blow me a way challenge after challenge. So inspiring!!!
That's it for now! Until next time, stay crafty!
Copics used:
birds: B52, C1, E50
branch: E37, 35, 31
music: E35, 31, 30
shading C5, 3, 2, 1, colorless blender
panel edges: B52, B000, colorless blender
