A new challenge at Kratftin Kimmie Stamps: Movie Inspiration!
Time for a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
This week our fabulous hostess is Deborah and she is tasking us with creating a movie inspired card. Fun stuff for me, because I LOVE movies! But how do I choose which one? I knew I wanted to use Melaina, so I opted for a movie with a few fairy characters in it. That brought me to Pan's Labyrinth...one of my absolute favorite films. Guillermo del Toro is a cinematic genius and unwraps this dark fairytale like gift for the viewer. It's the stuff childhood dreams (and nightmares) are made of. It's beautiful and surreal in the light of day, but when the lights go out there's a mystical creature around every corner and you can never be certain of its intentions. A handful of tiny fairies guide the main character through a variety of adventures. Plus, there's a villain so sinister you soon realize that the monsters are a welcome respite from the real threat in human form. Truly a must see.
Join the challenge this week and you could win something fun and rubbery from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
PLUS...who likes SALES???!! OOOHHH, me, me, me!!! Well, Kimmie is having a WELCOME SPRING SALE on NOW with over 150 stamps and sets on 20-50% OFF!!! Also ALL the retired stamps that have been brought back for a short time will soon be leaving and they are all on SALE, too!!!
